Hey ya’ll. We are back from #2k16bigsur! We all had SO MUCH FUN, even with some extra fun instances like Prim barfing in the van, insane tantrums (again Prim), coming home to a broken fridge where we had to dump EVERYTHING into the trash.
Lucky for you those deets will be saved for another post because this post is all about something that made the craziness of camping with littles a little less crazy— See Kai Run shoes. I’m sure if you’ve hung out around my blog before, I usually stick with 7 quick takes or capsule wardrobing or trip recaps, but when See Kai Run reached out to me a couple weeks ago I thought it would be the perfect time to try out their shoes because I’ve only ever heard amazing things about their brand for years and they totally live up to the hype.
These were amazing while camping and since they have a velcro top, they were super easy for my kids to get on by themselves (major score tbh) which was SO helpful when they were having to take their shoes on and off so many times a day going in and out of the tent.
We’ve been having issues with the boys going through sneakers so quickly with the top getting worn away quickly, but See Kai Run sneakers have built-in rubber toe caps that prevent that from happening which is absolutely genius. They are so flexible that traversing the uneven ground at a campsite was easy peasy (especially for 2 of my clumsier kids, ha!).
The shoes were so versatile that they were able to wear them not only camping where they were romping around down by the river and climbing tree stumps, but also sleek enough for walking around Monterey and a day at the aquarium. I chose the Kristin (gray/woodland print) for Primrose. How cute are they!! Dying over them. I went with a nice neutral pair, Tanner in gray, for Atlas so that he can wear them with basically any outfit.
ANOTHER plus is that Ollie got the super cute Donovan which also work with his school’s uniform dress code and can be worn to Mass.
They also have these waterproof boots that have the best name. I just might have to pick up a pair for our winter snow trip. #california
I love that they focus on ensuring the best fit to allow for healthy foot growth in kids by designing sneakers that are flexible and leave room to move so that their feet can develop naturally. They offer sizes ranging from babies to big kids, so check them out!
See Kai Run is very generously offering a pair of shoes to the winner of the giveaway I’m hosting over on my instagram, so go check out their website and enter the giveaway!
